Do you accept owner surrenders?

We do not accept owner surrenders. Our focus is on the cats

in our community that would not be considered at other shelters due to their
undomesticated/feral nature.

 

 

Do you offer TNR services?

Yes! We are passionate about working with our community to help

control the cat population. These services are based upon our availability but we will do

everything we can to work with you to TNR the cats in your colony.

 

 

Are your cats available for adoption?

Yes! Most of our cats are available for adoption and would LOVE to find
their forever home. Reminder that all of our cats were once outdoor babies
so please make sure you read their biography and don’t hesitate to reach out
if you have any questions about their personality or ideal home. If you are
interested in adopting one of our cats please fill out an application
and we will be in touch soon!

 

 

Can I volunteer?

Right now we do not have many opportunities for volunteering but we
do home that will change in the future. We could sometimes use help transporting TNR
cats to the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA in the morning when we have new intakes. If
that may be something you’d like to help us with then please send us an email. We’d
love to talk to you!

 

 

Are you a no-kill facility?

We will NEVER have a cat euthanized because of it’s behaviors
or because we need space at our facility. However, unfortunately, sometimes
animals come into our care with severe medical trauma that has long gone untreated. In
the cases where there is no treatment option and the animal is in severe pain with no
hope for recovery we may have to, with the guidance of medical professionals, make
the kindest decision possible and have the cat put down. This is always our last resort
because it breaks our hearts every time. In any situation, we are always by their side
until the end to make sure that they leave this world surrounded by love.
