TNR stands for “trap, neuter, release” and is tremendously important for helping control the feral cat population. Cats are humanely trapped and well cared for until their surgery day. On surgery day they are taken for care where they are spayed/neutered, appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas, ticks, and parasites. If there are any other medical concerns with the animal, those concerns are also addressed during this appointment. Once it’s ready, the cat is then brought back to the sanctuary and kept cozy and safe until it’s ready to be released back to its original location where it feels safe.

TNR services are offered based upon our availability. While we do everything we can to accommodate the requests we receive for assistance please note that we may not be available to help in all situations. If you have a need for these services, please send us an email with your name, contact information, location, and details about your situation so we can assess if we are able to help.
